Made from high quality anodized aluminum and brass, this is one durable mister that will last for years. The plastic misting nozzles will outlast brass nozzles. Each nozzle has a built-in mesh screen filter to prevent nozzle clogging.
Each misting nozzle consumes 0.63gph@40psi or 1.00gph@100psi. If the mister is making too much mist for your
liking, misting nozzles can be removed and plugged off by ordering nozzle plugs.
For best results this mister should be mounted at least 6 feet off of the ground. The mister itself does not have a lot of throw, so you need the breeze or air flow to carry the mist over a larger area. With a slight breeze, the mist will travel well over 30 feet. You can run several of these misters off a single water source.
Don't be fooled by the "permanent' name. You can make this mister as portable as you want. Pre-drilled mounting holes on all sides allow you to mount the mister with screws. Some people thread string through one mounting hole and tie a knot to hang the mister with an S - Hook. You can also use zip ties or just hook it up a garden hose with no mounting, again the possibilities are endless.
For most mist cooling applications we recommend ordering a 4, 5, or 7 nozzle mister. For larger areas you may want to consider a 7 or 10 nozzle mister. Remember you can always remove nozzles and plug them off, so it is best to order more nozzles than less.
